Annie Found a Home!

Annie is a nine year old (this month) Mexican Redhead Amazon parrot who is very friendly and loves a lot of attention. She is green with a red head and has an ID bracelet around her foot in case she gets out. She says many words including hi, hello, good girl, good bye, and no, and she also makes a lot of very unique and fun sounds. She puts the various words together in different ways, which is so cute. She loves to sit on your shoulder while getting close to your mouth trying to mimic any sound that comes out of your mouth as she scoots closer and closer to you. She also enjoys resting upside down in the palm of your hands on her back and will say "good girl" when she is ready to be upright again (see photo). Lastly, She enjoys taking showers with you!

Annie's owners have various toys and cages that will accompany her and they will thoroughly screen whoever wants her to ensure she goes to a good, loving home. They are seeking bird-experienced people for Annie.

Annie found a new home! She will be the bird-in-residence at Gunston Animal Hospital.
